(EARLY) HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL! Posts: 909 Group: Student Council Division Team Member #1 Joined: January 13, 2006	The Laws of Midori High 1) Invision Terms Of Service still apply here. 2) Strictly forbidden acts: racism, sexism or bias of any negative kind. 3) Please practice common courtesy and basic respect towards others on this board. 4) Trolling, flame baiting and generally inciting trouble is a serious offense. 5) Do not harass or attack any other member. 6) Members that are not part of the staff ARE NOT allowed to post in other member's applications, be it character applications, ability applications and so forth. 7) Having more than one account is not acceptable here in Midori High and is punishable by being banned. If you have a brother or sister, or any other person that wishes to join the board but will use the same computer or email address to register, please inform a staff member regarding the matter. If you wish to have more than one account, please PM an administrator with an explanation and the account name. 8) Please do not flood/spam the board. 9) Ensure that you post here if you are going to leave permanently or temporarily. 10) Please keep posts in IC forums IC. This means do not make entirely OOC posts in IC forums. 11) You will receive three warnings from the staff and a fourth time you will face the consequences, either by being suspended or even banned. 12) NEW!! Personal attacks and insults against the staff over forum issues such as the enforcement of rules will not be tolerated under any circumstances, nor will attempts to use friendship with a staff member to get out of a rule or punishment or get your application approved. Because this is a serious offense, no warnings will be given. The first offense will result in a two week suspension. Second offense will result in a permanent ban and we will send a large man to your house to hit you with a bat. This is a high stress job for no pay, please don't make it harder for us than it has to be. The Laws of Midori High (Roleplaying Rules) 1) Godmodding in all its various forms is absolutely off limits. This includes playing another person's character without permission, dodging everything coming your way, and automatically hitting enemies with every attack. 2) Power Restrictions: ->Manipulation and creation of matter, powers over life and death, and love powers are off limits. 3) Elemental powers are permitted only if it has a good explanation provided and a creative use of power. 4) Species Restrictions: ->Deity (God) beings or any species with regards to Deity beings are strictly not allowed. 5) We would definitely appreciate it so if you used proper English, including spelling and grammar, when posting. This makes posts easier to read and easier on everyone in general. If English is not your first language and/or spelling/grammar is your weak point, we would like to see your posts with at least some effort in trying to use proper English. 6) After you reach 50 posts, you may create a new character. Every 50 posts thereafter, you may make another one. 7) CHANGED!! Players may have a maximum of 4 characters. If you want to make more, you must retire one. Staff may have a maximum of six characters including teachers. People who had over the limit before this rule was instated are excused, but must retire an appropriate number of characters before creating more. 8) Stealing characters from an anime/manga/game/etc is forbidden. You may share a name and appearance, but that is the limit. 9) NPC characters that are very important in a character's story plot must undergo the specified application for it. To apply for an NPC, please proceed to the NPC Forum for more specific instructions. 10) NEW!! All SLs are created equally. Once you have joined a thread, you have made a commitment to continue playing in that SL. Do not ignore it to post in others. That isn't fair to other people in that SL who still want to play and are stuck waiting on you. If you find yourself with too many threads to keep track of, or want out of a given scene for whatever reason, make an exit post removing your character. Its just good manners. If someone is in an SL with you, active on the forum, and not posting, please PM them reminding them to ensure they aren't just being forgetful. If they continue to ignore your thread, contact staff and we'll sort it out from there. 11) NEW!! The following tags may be placed in the topic of an SL to indicate what kind of roleplay the topic starter is looking for. Use of these tags is optional, but always respect them when they are present. <OTA> = Open to all. <SSL> = Interaction and character development SL. Don't come here looking for a fight. More on this below. <FSL> = Fighting SL, for picking a fight. <PRV> = Private topic, don't enter unless you're invited. <ASK> = Ask before joining the SL. <MFSL> = Main forum SL, run by one of the staff. Don't use this tag if you aren't staff or we will smite you with a banana. <M-C> = Music class. (Other teachers, please edit to add your own class tags.) 12) Last but not least, the most important rule – have fun and enjoy yourself here!
