Midori needs a catchy slogan/line. Well mostly the newsletter but that is besides the point flails This competition is open to all who dare. To submit your entry simply enter your idea onto a soon to be made topic in the Suggestion Forum. The title for the topic will be “Newsletter Challenge!” You all have exactly one month to submit ONE idea. From those submitted the staff will choose the best line to use from now on. If we have a substantial amount of entries we will hold a poll to decide the winner. Plus seeing how the editor is the Coding person, he offers to the winner a custom Title/Username Color. This one time title will be available only to the winner and no other. Consider this a memorable win. Remember the catch phrase must hold the essence of the Midori Experience, of the world we are all apart of and enjoy. Take into consideration that the line should have deep meaning; that resonates with past, current and future members. Good Luck to all of you and we can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with. Well that is the main gist. nods

Midori of the green pastures, From which new life springs, It is the time for new Masters, So let’s see what the future brings. I had a bit of trouble with the last line. It could also have been So what will our future bring, or So what will our students futures bring, or So let’s see what our students’ futures bring but, none of them really went since Springs and Bring, doesn't sound quite right as a rhyme. So there it is anyway my humble attempt. Hope you like it even if it isn't too suitable.

Update Well we only had 3 entries and as the editor I must say….I wasn’t really impressed. The first entry didn’t quite catch the essence of Midori. Yes students can be either good or evil but the there is more to it than that; since in the school we have learned that not everything is necessarily black or white. The second entry was a good reference to the insanity one can find around the forums but that was all there was too it. As the editor read the entry, it felt more like an inside joke than a good representation of the RP world. The third entry was closer to what the editor imagined would be a good phrase. Reading it gave a personal image of what the campus would look like, a view overlooking the main building from the entrance way. As they awaited the next generation of students to enter and expand its world. In retrospect, there was really only one entry that gave a viewpoint into the world we all RP in. However, it just doesn’t seem fair to just give the win to the third entry since it was the only suitable entry; that and the fact that only 3 members made an attempt for glory. So the editor feels like giving a chance to those that would have loved to participate and give their own unique view to Midori. The Challenge will be extended till the end of February, before the next newsletter comes out. To clarify and help you all, the phrase doesn’t have to be a sentence or a few words. Roughly you may use anywhere from 2-4 sentences, and can be a quote. I would just like to state that the phrase or quote or etc. may be from the viewpoint of a new or experienced student. The third entry is still in the game and the first two contestants may try again. Just remember from this point everyone gets only one shot, and please refrain from making comments till near the end of the contest or in a separate thread. Again, good luck to everyone and the staff eagerly awaits future entrants. Like it says people.
