Advanced Member Posts: 270 Group: Winter Katsutenchi Member #534 Joined: April 4, 2007	Dane's new power: Intuitive Aptitude Basic Description: After years of observing the world and the many things in it, Dane has developed a unique ability to take apart puzzles and solve them just by observing their components. -Puzzles The simplest example of this power would be a jigsaw puzzle. By viewing the complete image and then observing the pieces, Dane can quickly visualize the solution and solve the puzzle within moments. By looking at one piece he can see the complete image in his mind and place it in its proper position. ==Strength: This extends beyond the physical example of puzzles. By observing an opponent, Dane can then view the pieces and 'solve'. This often involves fighting the person and defeating them, disassembling the person into pieces. After observing both, Dane develops an understanding for the subject. ==Weakness: To finish the puzzle Dane must observe both the complete image and the pieces. Without one of these there can be no connection. ===Note: The complete image and pieces do not need to be observed at the same time. -Dissection In systems that fluctuate but have several constant factors, Dane is able to understand the system if he understands the basic factors. The best example is martial arts. Because Dane is a master of martial arts and understands its fundamentals, he is able to observe a new style and quickly adapt a counter or even mimic the style. ==Strength: Apart from providing Dane with the ability to counter structured fighting styles, there is another application. Having a great deal of knowledge about the human body and anatomy, Dane is able to diagnose a number of physical injuries and in the case of resetting bones or joints understands the necessary procedures to fix these. ==Weaknesses: In order for this power to work Dane must understand the system entirely. A good example of when this power would not work is cars. Dane has no idea how a car works and even if he sees a working car or the pieces of a car he cannot connect the two or solve any problem related to them. This is also why Dane does not understand other people's personalities well because he does not understand the basics of anyone's personality except for his own. ===Note: Even though Dane does not fight with a weapon he can understand martial arts that involve weapons because they still have the same basics. ================================================= And there you have it.

However, upon close examination the rules for power upgrades may be in need of another look, and as its written right now you need the good word of three staff. Give us a little time to discuss what to do and we'll get back to you ASAP, at the moment the majority of the admin base is in bed.
