Appearance: A beautiful woman with deep brown eyes and long black hair. She looks like she's in her early 20's but doesn't act like it. She usually wears extravagant clothes and accessories making her look both eccentric and matriarchal. She likes to cultivate the image of a person of eccentric taste with a large store of knowledge. She smokes a long pipe specifically for this purpose. Theme Song: Nighteyes by Akiyamauni http://www.badongo.com/audio/18196379 Personality: Very collected and easily off-putting. Her personality is a bit hard to understand. Unlike other long lived entities, she displays none of the bitterness commonly associated with old age. She is difficult to approach, but that’s more due to her deviousness than any uneasy feeling that people may have around her. Everyone agrees that her personality is not something pleasant. A youkai-like witch who likes to sleep all day and lives for the enjoyment of life. A very powerful magician who has a tendency to toy with her opponents rather than use her full power from the start. Her attitude makes you think as if you’re being teased by her, which is really irritating even if you manage to defeat her. If anyone is suited for the role of “mastermind” it is Mirea. She often has a great deal of insight and understanding about whatever happens and possesses considerable intellectual prowess as well. She could easily be either a villain or a heroine, depending on her whims. However, nothing can match her in sincerely caring and loving with all her heart. Weapons/Powers/Abilities: Operation of Parallel Worlds The Second True Magic, better known by the name Kaleidoscope. Mirea’s thaumaturgy has resulted in her being able to look into and access parallel realities. She often uses this as a means of transportation, taking shortcuts through gaps in the space between her current reality and whatever plane of reality is close by. She can draw mana from the alternate reality of her current location, effectively giving her nearly unlimited mana as there is an infinite number of alternate realities. She could easily use this mana to fuel extremely high level magic but she normally just strikes her opponent with a stream of raw mana since it's as good as a beam weapon anyway. This same method accounts for her apparent longevity and the short life of some alternate Mirea’s. The danger and potency of this magic is beyond imagination. It’s something that can only be controlled by those who are able to withstand great stress or some weirdo like Mirea. Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon A fragment of the Kaleidoscope. The ability to create openings in space that link to another point within the same plane of existence. Possibly a manifestation of the highest order of non-Euclidean geometry since it concerns itself with unnatural angles. It’s rather disconcerting to see. Normal humans aren’t meant to comprehend such unnatural space curvature after all. The effects of this thaumaturgy can be likened to stepping into a portal and coming out another. Only there isn’t an obvious portal. Rather one may find themselves suddenly running into the ground then finding yourself running in another direction. You ran in a straight line, every sense in your body tells you that and you perceived that you ran in a straight line however the results say otherwise. It’s a rather confusing concept to understand so let’s just say Mirea can control discrete portals within her line of sight. This minor effect of her greater magic theory is the primary reason Mirea is such an infuriating opponent. She almost never attacks. Rather, she lets her opponent beat themselves. An attack aimed at her would strike the attacker as if it was the most natural thing in the world. People would find themselves falling into the sky then emerge sideways from a nearby wall. The only indication that Mirea is doing anything is her annoying laughter as she watches her enemies struggle. Mirea has no qualms about using such a high level concept for mundane uses, such as stealing your food from a distance. History: A notorious senior magician from the Mage Association who is one of the few living magicians capable of True Magic that can accomplish impossibilities that is beyond modern science or magecraft. Her particular magic is known as the Kaleidoscope, and she is recognized as the one most knowledgeable about alternate possibilities. Her early theories and experiments laid down much of the foundations for modern magecraft and a few of her textbooks are still used in the curriculum. Her name is also present in most of the conflicts recorded in the history books of the Association. Most notable amongst them is her involvement in various witch hunts and wars against supernatural creatures such as vampires. Curiously, she was on the side of the Association as often as she was on their enemy’s side. One can easily conclude that she is never on anyone’s side but her own. Although she is respected by the faculty, Mirea’s arrival is treated more as a natural calamity rather than a visit from a well known person. Her habit of picking out the most promising students to be her apprentice has been the source of aggravation for the Association’s teachers. Her tutelage, while comprehensive, frequently traumatizes her students, leaving them incapable or unwilling to continue their careers. Made worse by the fact that many students would clamor to be the apprentice of such a legendary figure, further reducing the amount of talented magi, Never mind the male student’s who trip over their own feet when they see her for the first time. Recently, a certain amateur magician by the name of Renko Usami has caught her attention due to some events that sent ripples across this reality. Since Mirea prefers to act in the background rather than take a center-stage role, she has decided that Renko would make a wonderful piece in this game she found. Additional information: Although not expressly stated, the Association considers Mirea one of the most dangerous beings in existence. She is one of the few humans in their list which is otherwise populated by vampires, apparitions, elementals, and other monsters. Her last promising student was a certain Mrs. Usami. They split off on good terms once Mrs. Usami got married. Mirea was present at the wedding even though most did not notice her. Unbeknownst to Renko, Mirea is actually her godmother. Both of them would protest the term fairy godmother however. Thinking of it, it seems they’re more alike than they realize.

Advanced Member Posts: 112 Group: Student Leaders Member #207 Joined: July 4, 2006	Let's see, this NPC reads like a heavily plagiarised mishmash of Yakumo Yukari and Zelretch from Touhou Project and Fate/Stay Night respectively. Arguably the most outrageously powerful god-like characters from each, no less. You have at least one paragraph of copypasta in your bio that I recognize... too bad for you I've read the Touhou wiki too, huh? I know your existing character is already borrowing powers heavily from F/SN, but this is not only powers, its personality and even wording. Usually I give people a chance to fix their problematic bios, but this is unsalvageable from the word 'go', and furthermore direct plagiarism is something we take very seriously here.
