Rumors have surfaced this week regarding a $50.00 price drop on the XBOX 360. Joystiq.com and Gamespot have both reported on advance ads from Toys R' Us advertising the 50 dollar drop. This would put the premium package at 349.00. This may have been done to combat the 100 dollar PS3 drop, or possibly just to make Halo 3's appearance in September more attractive to non 360 owners. For whatever reason, if the rumor is true, its a win for the consumer. I love when companies compete for our money. Prices go down. :) |
