The Searchers, in my opinion is probably Wayne's best on-screen performance. I think it even trumps the Rooster Cogburn movies. I don't want to give any spoilers since you havent seen it, but watch the film and you will see Wayne's acting really go into directions you didnt think he was capable of. Part of this was the superb direction and coaching of legendary director John Ford. |
