I found Godzilla: Tokyo SOS a big disappointment after Godzilla against mechaGodzilla
Same here, because Godzilla Tokyo SOS seemed, to me, too much of a "copy", for lack of better word, to Godzilla X Mechagodzilla. I did like seeing Hiroshi Koizumi reprise his role of of the linguist and language specialist "Chujo".

Mothra and the larvae are nicely detailed, but I do wish Toho will give he a longer rest then Godzilla, since Im beginning to get annoyed at seeing her in the G-films
I would also like to see Mothra get an extended break from the big screen for a while. This lepidopteral monster has appeared, in either larval or adult form, in a lot of films. They are:

Mothra(1961)
Mothra vs Godzilla(1964)
Godzilla Vs The Sea Monster(1966)
Destroy All Monsters(1968)
Godzilla Vs Mothra(1992)
Godzilla Mothra & King Ghidorah: All Out Monster Atack(2001)
Godzilla Tokyo SOS(2003)
Godzilla Final Wars(2004)
Rebirth Of Mothra(1996)
Rebirth Of Mothra 2(1997)
Mothra 3: Invasion Of King Ghidorah(1998)

That's eleven films. This kaiju should get a break from cinema, at least for a while.
