I haven't had any luck finding an official DVD release, I'm curious, did this film receive a LD release? I know some fans of classic sci-fi/horror have told me that many classics were released to LD and many times offered better bonus features and such than the later DVD releases. I was wondering if any of the Godzilla films were released to LD and if so, how they compare to the current DVD releases and if Godzilla vs Biollante was a LD release. I very much want to get this film back in my collection and I am region-free, if there's a DVD out there, although, I would need English subs, as I'm unable to understand Japanese. The only official DVD release of Godzilla Vs Biollante that I know of is the Region 2 Toho DVD which can be purchased at Yesasia.com or CDJapan. It is not English subtitled. There is a site where you can download DVD and DVD-R eng subtitles: Tokyomonsters-I am not very tech savvy when it comes to "burning" Eng subs for these discs so I cannot help you with that. The site(forum) boss at this site is Jim Ballard. You might have to register at his forum but it has a very good "technical" forum on his board. I can PM with 2-3 sites that I know sell this title as a DVD-R in widescreen format. Let me know if I can be of any more help. :)
