I figured I would start a thread to talk about college football since we don't have one yet. I may watch more college games than NFL this year considering I am off Saturdays but have to work on Sundays. I guess the biggest thing happening this week was no. 5 Michigan losing to Applachian state, a small school (I think they were AA). What an upset. Things are looking pretty sour now for the Wolverines and I am wondering what is going to happen to their status now. By this weekend they may not even be ranked at all. My local team, the UT Longhorns barely avoided an upset themselves with a marginal win over Arkansas st., 21-13. Next week the have to play TCU who is ranked no. 22. TCU looked promising on Saturday and I can almost smell an upset if the Longhorns dont get their act together. |
