When Sony purchased MGM, I feared that it might spell the end of the MM line, but I read somewhere, yesterday, that the future does hold some Midnite Movies.  Not sure of the titles, I'll go back and see if I can locate the article, but I'm hoping for some fun titles, if they continue this line.

There have been several threads at various boards I have browsed that have discussed the future of the MGM Midnite Movies. Having read them I am inclined to think that the series will hang around, although there was mention that only films from 10 years ago to present would be considered now for the series. I'm not sure I buy into that-the charm and popularity of this line of DVDs has been the older titles themselves, films from 50's, 60's and 70's. Just FYI KF: the location where I see the most Midnite Movie DVDs is Best Buy. :)
