I agree 100% with Ro-Dan's view of Godzilla being so evil in this, you were just waiting for the others to kick his behind. B)

And in some respects I'm still waiting tongue-1 . My only complaint about this film was that the guardian monsters were not rendered as strong enough to seriously challenge Godzilla. There has been much dialogue about director Shusuke Kaneko's desire to portray Godzilla as a malevolent and all-powerful nightmare in this movie-he succeeded IMO, maybe a little too much. For me any Godzilla film where he fights other monsters has to include the possibility, however remote, that G can be defeated(or at least temporarily incapacitated) by the oppsing monster(s), and I didn't get that at all from this film. Even after KG transformed into Grand KG and began firing off fully charged gravity beams at Godzilla, I still had the overwhelming impression that G would win. For the record this is my favorite, and IMO best of the Millenium Godzilla films, and it is no coincidence that Kaneko was directing. He also directed the 90's Gamera trilogy films. I consider the '95 Gamera film to still be arguably the best Japanese giant monster movie ever made. bravo clap
