Been awhile since I posted here, just havent had alot of time to sit down and watch games with all the household stuff going on. Anyway I was able to catch the Texas-OU game which, while not being a blowout as predicted, still handed the Longhorns their second straight loss and ended any real hopes for a Big 12 championship. In happier news, USC was upset by Stanford 23-24, and Notre Dame finally got a victory against UCLA. I guess Weis can breathe a bit easier for the time being. Last I checked the AP polls, undefeated LSU was still holding the top spot with newcomer Cal Berkley in at number 2. What's up with Boston College this year? I havent seen any of their games but they really have come out of nowhere. Illinois pulled another upset and took out Wisconsin, these guys deserve a shot at the top 25 in my opinion. |
