To their credit, Notre Dame usually has a pretty tough schedule. In years past watching their games, I always see them playing someone decent and rarely notice them playing small schools, like alot of other teams. Maybe it's because they are in that "independent" conference or whatever. I'm not sure I really understand how that works. I know they pour alot of money into their football program though and this year has definetly been a dissapointment. Someome told me the other day that they had some sort of "exclusive" contract to have their games televised nationally. Do you know anything about that, Lee? Does that have anything to do with why they are calssified as independent? |
