I just watched, Wolf Creek, it was a rental from NetFlix and I actually enjoyed the film. It claims to be based on true events which makes it all that much creepier, if that's the case. The story is about two British women who are on holiday in Australia and befriend a local. The three pool their cash and purchase a vehicle to head into the outback to go to Wolf Creek Crater Park and check out the crater and surrounding area. They find their vehicle is dead upon their return from the hike to the crater and a local shows up that night and offers to help repair their vehicle, but they and the vehicle will have to be towed back to his place. The following events will have you seriously reconsidering accepting any kindness from any stranger! |
