I only own 4 games for the PS3 but I think they are some of the best on the system - Resistance: Fall Of Man is a great FPS and a good Halo alternative. Warhawk is a massive online multiplayer war game - another you can play for hours on end and never experience the same thing twice. Heavenly Sword and Ninja Gaiden Sigma are two of the best adventure games I have played in a long time. I could easily recommend any of these. I'm planning on picking up either NBA 2K8 or NBA Live 08 this time around since I skipped 07. The reviews are out and both of these games received pretty favorable nods from the panels. About the HDMI cord, be sure to check ebay before you plunk down the cash at CC or best buy. Ebay sellers will often have the same cords for half the price. I think I spent less than 20 for my HDMI cable and have had no issues. thumbs up
