Just a few I can think of off the top of my head: Ultraseven, Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot, The Space Giants, and Zone Fighter. I think, Dan, that guys like August Ragone may play an important role in what we see of these TV series, released on R1 DVD, in the future. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't August know Cliff McMillan(spelling?) from BCI? BCI has already released Ultraman(1966-1967) to R1 DVD and we're about to see Iron King(1973) streeting on 11/6/07, as well as Giant Robot Red Baron and another tokusatsu TV series after that. I'm sure August is always lobbying Mr. McMillan at BCI to put these classics on DVD. Hopefully both August and others like Keith Aiken can affect, positively, the release of more of these shows to R1 DVD. I would buy Ultraseven, The Return Of Ultraman, Ultra Q & Space Giants on R1 DVD in a heartbeat if they were released. There is no way I can afford the asking price, at Amazon.com japan, for the R2 DVD box set of Ultraseven. :(
