Just out of curiosity, I decided I'd ask some questions, if anyone is willing to answer them: Do you have a monthly or weekly DVD budget? Do you stick to a budget or do you buy anything that you have on your list that you really want and more inportantly can find? Do you pre-order a lot of your titles to get a slight discount? Do any of you ever find yourself trying to explain your collection size to anyone? Has your collection size grown to the point that storage is now an issue? Do you make 'blind buy' purchases on a regular basis? Is your TV on DVD collection larger than you thought it was? Is your film on DVD collection, larger than you ever thought it would be? When you purchase a new DVD, how long before you actually sit down and watch it? Do you have any sealed or a large stack of unwatched DVDs, in your collection, today? If you collected LDs or VHS, has your DVD collection outnumbered the old collections by much? How do you store your DVDs? Shelving units, etc? How do you put them in order? Alphabetically, genere, year of production, director, etc? Are all your DVDs on display or do you feel you need to tuck some away, due to content, when company visits? Do any of you use NetFlix or any other rental service and if so, has that had any affect on your DVD purchases....more or less? Do you house your collection of titles using an online catalog site or have you made up your own way of keeping track of your collection? Buy used or new or a wee bit of both? Do you ever have a clear-out and go through your collection and get rid of titles you purchased blindly and didn't care for or because of re-releases or just because the film no longer appeals to you? If you're willing to purchase DVDs, used, have you ever found a DVD that was a real bargain? If something were to happen to you, is there a family member or close friend that enjoys your taste in films and you'd give them the collection?
