I also liked seeing Baragon back on the big screen, his last cinematic appearance a laughably brief shot in 1968's Destroy All Monsters. Baragon, though ultimately blasted into oblivion by Godzilla in this film, shows great courage and tenacity in his battle with Godzilla, a refreshing change from his previous on-screen appearances-recall that in 1965's Frankenstein Conquers The World he is unceremoniously jacked up by the 60 foot tall Franken-boy giant, and his shot in 1968's Destroy All Monsters is so brief as to make one wonder why he was even included in this film at all... confused |
