Regarding the content of you last post? Generally, yes. Like you I can see a future one day where robots, androids, or whatever else they're going to be called, are an everyday sight among society, much like in the films Artificial Intelligence and I Robot. I thought the movie Artificial Intelligence was marvelous. It takes a peek, at the end, about two thousand years into our future-there's another ice age and humanity no longer exists.
