Baragon's tenacity give him a real lovable quality--much like the Showa era's Angilas. I also liked the "GMK" Baragon's roar. Now I like his old roar, to be sure. I also noticed that there was a general level of discontent among fans concerning Kaneko(the film's director) not keeping Baragon's old roar. While I sympathize with those fans and do understand their gripe I think that the new roar worked out okay. Baragon's "roar" in GMK(2001) was mostly reptilian, and had a distinctly pig-like quality to it as well.
