OK, I'll admit it, I'm a HUGE fan of the 'Supermarionation' work of Gerry/Sylvia Anderson and this 1966 feature film from the Anderson's is a lot of fun.
The Zero X, a 21st century spacecraft is sabotaged on it's maiden flight to Mars and two years later, the Zero X is ready to try the launch, again. Enter, International Rescue, several members of the Tracy family will be there for the second launch to be sure this time, there is no problems.
Perhaps Thunderbirds Are Go! is geared towards children, but darned if I don't love this film. Several scenes are faves of mine, including Alan's dream about the 'Swinging Star' and the little music video that takes place in his dream....the Martian rock/worm creatures and all of the wonderful special effects for this film.
I also love the second feature film that was released two years later with the Tracy family....Thunderbird 6.
I admit to knowing little if anything about this feature...<hangs head in shame briefly>, but I will do some search engine on this further. :)
