Owning a Playstation 3 made me a blu-ray supporter even though I didnt buy it for blu-ray. I bought it for games but then figured I may as well check out the movies. Im glad now though, that blu-ray looks to prevail because now I wont have reservation or doubts when I think about purchasing a blu-ray disc. Im glad those reps steered you towards blu-ray despite the hd-dvd player being cheaper, Lee. It would have sucked right now for you to find out this news after recently buying into the Toshiba format. I was reading somewhere that Warner had about a 20% share of the home video market and their sister company, New Line had a pretty good share as well. Im glad we will still be able to buy their Hi-def movies. |
