It didn't surprise me at all that they would take a "defiant" stance but dropping that major press conference showed some worry on their side. Microsoft may have some sort of a plan, but at this point, I think they will probably focus more on digitally downloaded movies as opposed to HD-DVD. But it wouldnt surprise me if we begin hearing reports of Toshiba's camp trying to bribe another of the studios to their side with the promise of wads of cash. Im wondering how much Sony paid off Warner for their exclusivity. |
