I agree, I always said that if my Broncos won a Super Bowl, I'd never ask for another win, then we got two championships and I said I would be satisfied for life, but life has a way of making one just ever-so-slightly greedy and I'd love to see another win. You're correct, filling Elway's shoes must be a daunting task for anyone and Plummer's decision making did dramatically improve this season, until it got right down to the big game. I'm hoping next season will be an even better season, but we've lost Kubiak to Houston, so time will tell, rather quickly, I'm betting.
In packmule's opinion losing Gary Kubiak=possible slippage in Broncos offense, but with Shanahan, an offensive-oriented guy already in charge, I wouldn't bet on the decline being very large, or lasting for very long. Probably will be more like a hiccup. :)
