Yep. I heard that too. That SHOULD mean the prices on HDTV will come down so that's a good thing.

I'm sure that prices will come down, but still, for myself, with $850 invested between my two televisions(a 36" standard screen stereo "Magnavox", and a 30" widescreen flatscreen "JVC"), both bought in the summer of 2005, I am more inclined to buy the converter boxes. As I do not watch TV very much, and watch fewer films on DVD these days, both of my TVs should still be in great shape in four more years. Then there is the financial aspect to consider Dan, which I can sum up as thus: unless money starts growing on trees I will have to opt for the boxes. tongue-1
