I have so many performances that I have really been impressed by over the years, I'm not sure I can choose just one, but one performance that I think is absolutely wonderful is that of the late-great, Shelley Winters in the film, The Poseidon Adventure. Her performance as Mrs Rosen just floors me....she gained 35 pounds to take on the role and in my opinion, she outshined the entire cast and that cast was made up of fantastic actors and actresses. She was sweet, loving, kind, brave and took countless mean-hearted jabs from Mrs Logo throughout the film and her final scenes in the film were outstanding and can still reduce me to tears, no matter how often I've seen the film. There are so many other favorite acting performances I can choose, but at the moment, I'll stay with this one, although Peter Cushing's performance as Arthur Grimsdyke in, Tales From the Crypt is another favorite. Wow, the more I think about it, the more performances I want to add, so I'll end, here! :)
