At Best Buy the other day, I overheard a clerk trying to discourage someone from buying an HD-DVD player. The guy wanted it mainly because it was cheaper, but the employee warned him, "We are phasing those out soon...Before too long you won't be able to buy the players or discs here." On another note, thinking about the Universal catalog, I'd like to pickup, when available, Peter Jackson's King Kong, Land Of The Dead, and Van Helsing, when available, on Blu-ray disc. |
