I also didn't get the part that as soon as he was turned back to his regular self, Ultraseven sent Windum right back to the tower, only to get brainwashed again. From what I understand Corey the TNT episodes of Ultraseven, shown mostly in 1993, were edited(shortened), and this included, unfortunately, some of the battle scenes between Ultraseven and his opponents. You may notice this in other episodes as well. I did. There is one episode(I don't recall offhand which particular one) where it doesn't even show Ultraseven defeating the monster...one moment Ultraseven is fighting the monster, and then the next scene Dan is celebrating the victory with his MAT(Monster Attack Team) teammates. My first reaction to this was "What the hell?", until I realized that I was watching the TNT, english dubbed, and edited version of this great series. I am also not real fond of the dubbing either. confused
