So the series is still pretty much more mature than the later series will become. Damn...Not only is there Ultra Seven but now I'm really curious about this series as well. Another difference I noticed between the two series that I believe I did not mention: in Ultraseven there are more plots involving aliens and their giant incarnations, as opposed to The Return Of Ultraman, which had more monsters that were indigenous to Earth, like in the original 1966 series. Personally, I like a series that has a good "blend" of both-"Ultraseven" seemed a little "top heavy" in alien episodes, though in no way has this diminished my enjoyment of it.
