I love my HD-TV. The hi-definition channels look beautiful. My favorite channels, History Channel and Discovery, are fantastic. Sports look great. Hell, even the news and game shows like Jeopardy are more enjoyable in hi-definition. My girlfriend loves American Idol and let me say, the show looks damn great in hi-def. Plus, HD-TVs are all wide-screen so the days of compressing my rectangular DVD images down to smaller sizes to fit my old analogue TV square box are over.
I think my favorite HD channels are National Geographic, (love Naked Science) History Channel, (The Universe program looks awesome in HD) ESPN, and Monsters HD.
