You could. I quit asking "Santa" for things after 1976. That year I asked him to leave Lynda Carter under the tree for me for Christmas  ...unfortunately he couldn't deliver and I have been hardhearted towards ole Saint Nick ever since.

The topic: "Courageous Cat"-another animated cartoon series I will start looking for on DVD-R. And while we're talking about cartoon series, let me recommend, KF, Spiderman-The '67 Collection-all of Spidey's episodes from the classic 1967 series. I enjoy this one.

LOL....Old Santa has remained pretty good to me over the years, but then Santa's elves also made it perfectly clear that some things, Santa would NEVER deliver, so after a couple of small disappointments, I lowered my expectations. ;)

I have seen the Spiderman '67 Collection a couple of times and always mean to pick it up, guess I'll have to get serious about this, now.

My dad introduced me to Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse when I was just a little kid. I remember him enjoying it more than I did. The main villain was named "The Frog". Basically he spoke and looked like Edward G Robinson, which I thought was pretty funny.

I can just barely remember seeing this on early morning TV, must have been around '70-'71, but The Frog is the one villain that has always remained in my memory, just because of the distinct voice!

I remember my Dad introducing me to some great 'toons' as a kid, I'm not so sure he thought that when he introduced me to the toons that I'd still be loving many, if not most of them, all these years later! Mr Green
