I live in terror that several titles will go OOP before I can add them to my collection.

That fear is, unfortunately, often reality regarding titles going out of print. Examples: the Simitar DVD releases of Godzilla King Of The Monsters(1956), Godzilla Vs Mothra(1964), Godzilla Vs Monster Zero(1965), and Godzilla's Revenge(1969), all of which I bought in 1997. They are all stellar DVDs, with clean prints, lbx formats(even the 1956 film), and nice extras. Not long after I bought these DVDs Simitar Video went out of business. Fortunately, these titles will be available on Region 1 again with the Sept. Classic Media re-releases-nine years later. The same goes for the Neptune Media VHS copies of the Showa Gamera films that Neptune released-after I bought them Neptune Media soon went out of business. Don't hold your breath for these letterboxed, subtitled Showa Gamera titles on Reg 1 DVD anytime soon. That motivation often drives me to buy a DVD title as opposed to something else that I have been planning on buying. freak out
