I think Shell was a perfect fit for the Raiders, he was part of two championship teams with them and he has the Raider mentality of 'Just Win, Baby'. I think Al Davis, like so many owners these days is quick to toss a coach aside when things get a little bleak and probably if Shell had been there all along, they may have been to more SB's and possibly won some....that's saying a lot for a die-hard Broncos fan! ;) As for David Carr, I think things should come together nicely for him from an offensive point, with Kubiak running the show, now. I agree, Legionmaster, Carr's got a lot of promise, when he's not flat on his back! |
