In 1969 Toho released Godzilla's Revenge. The story: a kid named Ichiro is having it tough, what with bullies from school and parents that are never at home. And now a pair of bank robbers are after him. Ichiro uses his imagination to "escape" to MonsterIsland, where he, along with Minya, witness Godzilla fighting the other monsters of the island, Kamikiras, Kumonga, and finally a new monster, Gabara. Ichiro watches as Godzilla trains Minya to fight, and soon Ichiro is turning the tables on those two bad-guy bank robbers! ---Post your opinions and impressions of this film here. :) |
