There is nothing definitive right now Kimi, about a Region 1 DVD release of this 1961 film. I have, as I always do, monitored other sites(and member comments  ) regarding rumors of DVD releases and such. The last commentary I saw posted about Mothra(1961) was that Columbia Pictures, which still owns the U.S. rights to the film, has in their possession a beautiful print of the movie, and that there is reason to believe that, within the next 1-2 years, a region 1 DVD release might happen.
