It just seems like Bush is either unable or uninterested in dealing with domestic issues. I feel he misled all of us into this mess in Iraq and now, without an exit strategy, he's in over his head. What's with these gasoline prices? How much will it take before we tap into our reserves? Plus, the constant fear mongering (terror alerts, wire taps) is frightening. I feel as if we're losing our rights for the sake of security. I'm reminded of this great quote by Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." |
