I liked the actors(and actresses) that appeared in this film-IMO they did absolutely nothing to hold this movie back, but had the opposite effect. Besides Jean Reno as the gruff, croissant-deprived French government agent, I liked many of the other characters: 1. the portly NYC mayor and his sweet-tooth vs his slightly more than inept aide 2. "Animal", the slightly crazy photog(played by Hank Azaria) and his attempts to get Godzilla on tape 3. the ill-tempered General vs his bumbling but hard working Sgt and the same General vs the NYC mayor during the crisis :D |
