This movie is a riot. Other funny aspects of the film: 1. Ensign Stovall(Dick Sargent) always trying to play the straight-and-narrow officer with the Captain around, easy enough for him to do, except when Lt. Holden's around. 2. Lt. Holden's first day onboard after the sub had gotten underway. He expected breakfast in bed, and wanted to sleep in, which obviously did not sit well with the Captain 3. various crew members feigning illness in order to be around the nurses in sick bay 4. One of my favorite one liners from the movie, during the pig roast dinner on deck when the sub was dockside: Nurse: "The sub is such a pretty shade of pink don't you think?" Crewmember: "Please ma'am...I'm trying to eat." laughing smiley |
