have always been partial to Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns. His "The Man With No Name" character, a rugged, sullen, and deliberate fellow with a fondness for cigars and a short fuse when it comes to drunkards, card cheats, wannabe gunfighters and other local town riff-raff, really carries these movies. Did I forget to mention that he is hell on wheels with his six-shooters?

I haven't always been a big fan of any westerns....not a die-hard fan, more of a casual fan and pleasantly surprised when I do find a western I like, but I am a big fan of the spaghetti westerns, because they they are much grittier and believable than their U.S. made counterparts. Now, that's not to say I don't have a handful of U.S.-made westerns that I enjoy, but I'm on more of a spaghetti western kick, at the moment.
