Step #1: Get a goal, find games that no one else has ripped sprites from and that you want to rip sprties from.
Step #2: Get the necessary things to do it. An emulaotr for the games system, and the rom of the game is necessary.
Step #3: Get programms to help you rip thje sprites, there are programms like amniget that help you do it.
Step #4: Get good at the game, if you can't beat the game, you won't be able to get many of the sprites that you want.
Steap #5: After playing the game and ripping the sprites, make a sheet by copying and pasting to a simple program like paint.
Step #6: Show off your work.
Thanks for the instructions Corey. I have jotted them down. Look for me to post some of my own sprites in November or December of this year. :)
