Epics. I have plenty of these films in my DVD library. An "epic" is considered to be a film with extravagant and detailed production values and sets, a plethora of top name actors, and a usually long run time, about two and a half hours, or even longer. Talk about your favorite epics here. I'll start off this thread with some of my own: 1. The Ten Commandments(1956) 2. Spartacus(1960) 3. Dr. Zhivago(1965) 4. Lawrence Of Arabia(1962) 5.
