It's funny, I'm not a huge musical fan, so to speak, but I have a few which make my favorite lists, too.

I suppose, Titanic would also be considered an epic and while it might not be a fave of many, I certainly can watch it, occasionally, although I do think we've discussed this one.

My Dad and I were discussing films like, The Longest Day, which is packed to the rafters with a huge cast of international stars and Dad said for the most part, this kind of film couldn't be made, these days, probably in large part to the cost, but also because he feels the egos of many of today's film stars wouldn't allow them to see their names too far down in the credits or the fact that they might not have a huge starring role in the film. I got to thinking and he may be correct. That's not to say all of today's stars would behave that way, but I bet a lot would.
