I'm not exactly sure of the exact year(I think it was 1999 or 2000) but it was the last time that AMC's Monsterfest had a very heavy emphasis on Godzilla and other giant monster films. I remember going to Circuit City and buying a 4-head VCR to replace a cheapie 2-head machine I had, in preparation of taping some these films. I pulled a few all-nighters that week, spending several work days drowning in strong coffee in order to fight the constant drowsiness from lack of sleep. Some of my tapings were good, as I successfully recorded Frankenstein Conquers The World(1965-AIP version with no commercials) and The Curse Of The Werewolf(1961-a Hammer classic, and no commercial interruptions)
^LOL Aaaaaah...the days of using a VCR to tape movies off of TV.
