I went with Pierce Brosnan, because I think he can still pull of the role, nicely. I think he's definitely got the look and presence needed to portray Bond and all of the films he's done have Bond have been quite enjoyable, I think. I also think Clive Owen would have made for a nice choice as Bond. In fact, when Brosnan made it clear he wasn't coming back in the role of Bond, I was very much hoping that Owen would assume the role.

I read somewhere on the internet that the asking price for signing either Clive Owen or Hugh Jackman to play 007 was more than the studio(owning the rights) wanted to pay. After watching Clive Owen in Sin City I was hoping he would get the role, but as I said before, I keep an open mind about these things-example: back in 1988 I read that Bruce Willis was going to be in an action movie, which I thought was ludicrous, considering his character in Moonlighting, but after watching Die Hard(1988) I changed my mind, as he pulled off the role of hard-ass(and a little hard-luck crazy ) cop John McClane very well. ;)
