And what's not stock footage is a dopey kid in an imaginary world with a talking Minya and a bully-monster named Gabara. Not my cup of tea. What a let down after DESTROY ALL MONSTERS? I have considered the possibility that Toho simply pushed a low budget film out the door just to have a G film "out there"-I say this because they cranked out one Godzilla film a year from 1964-68. I believe Toho's financial struggles were one reason for the heavy use of stock footage, and that, compounded by the fact this film was released after a big budget(by Toho's standards) movie like DAM=generally unpopular and not-to-well received movie.
