I'm re-reading one of my favorite novels from Stephen King, The Stand. I can't tell you how many times I've read this book and I enjoy it each and every time. I love the unedited version that was put out several years ago, it expanded on some of the characters and made a little more sense of some of the action that took place. I was given the DVD for the TV-mini-series as a gift, for which I was grateful, but nothing can compare to that book!

I have not read the book, or seen the movie, though I am aware of what the story is about. Sounds good. Have you read It? It was a tough read to be sure, at over 1000 pages, but it was outstanding, a personal favorite of mine from Stephen King. Another of his books I enjoyed was Graveyard Shift, an anthology of stories. This guy is a master,IMO, at writing really creepy horror stories. Another author you might check out KF: Dean Koontz. Two books I have by him that are really good: Watchers and Phantoms. Neither was a particularly good movie, but the books are, IMO, outstanding. :)
