The characters of Tokyo: SOS, Megaguirus, and Mechagodzilla were all military types that were virtually indistinguishable from film to film. I think G2000 actually had the most interesting characters: Katagiri, Shinoda, his daughter Io, Miyasaka, and that reporter chick.
