Indeed a good analogy. The Charlie's Angels films disrespected the 1970's TV series of the same name. Not suggesting the 70's "Angels" TV series was Emmy material mind you but there were regular characters and coherent plots, unlike the rapid-fire, kaleidoscopic mess of the CA films, whose campiness and far-fetched action scenes were mostly way to unbelievable for Packmule. I also think this applies to GFW in respect to the other Godzilla films. eyebrow
