You can count me in as a fan of this film. :D Minya is like any child, he has his annoying moments, but overall, he's easy to watch and good for a laugh or two, especially when Minya is attempting the oral beam and little smoke rings emerge and Godzilla finally stomps the little one's tail. As I am terrified of any spider, any size, the scenes with Kumonga are excellent and creepy. I agree with you, packmule, the final scene with Godzilla and Minya huddled together is really touching and a great ending to the film.

Columbia/Tri-Star have released this film along with others in some great looking discs, but their prices always seem a tad high. I guess they can't be too high, as I believe I own all the releases, now, but at almost $25 a pop in some stores, it does seem high.
