They're available on the fifth disc contained in the DVD box set released about 7 years ago. There's a lot of material that was edited from the theatrical version of Godfather I and II. However, many of those scenes were put back in for the television broadcasts of the late 1970's. The TV version of Godfather I and II was released on VHS video under the title "The Godfather: The Complete Epic". It was a VHS box set that re-edited both films into a complete movie, shifting the DeNiro flashback scenes to the very beginning. As a result, scenes from I and II were remixed to appear chronologically. |
